Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the tobacco company. It targets its grants toward organizations that support the preservation, promotion, and advancement of American Indian self-sufficiency and culture in the United States. Grants are awarded for the development of American Indian entrepreneurism; facilitating American Indian education (particularly college, graduate, and post-graduate education); and the preservation and enhancement of American Indian languages. The Board meets quarterly in March, June, September, and December. Applications must be received no later than the last day of the month preceding the meeting month. The Foundation will not accept proposals by fax or e-mail. An application form is available on the Web site.
