Description

The Foundation’s interests are primarily faith-based, but it does offer funding in a variety of areas including Bible colleges/seminaries, religious causes, medical concerns, liberal arts colleges, and social concerns. Grants to Bible colleges and seminaries represent one third of the Foundation’s grantmaking and range from $10,000 to $50,000. Potential recipients are asked to sign the Foundation’s Statement of Faith. Another third of the Foundation’s grants are earmarked toward religious organizations and range from $5,000 to $50,000. Grants to liberal arts colleges total 7 percent of the Foundation’s distribution and range from $2,500 to $15,000. Priority under this topic is given to private colleges. Grants to medical organizations range from $5,000 to $25,000 and represent 26 percent of the Foundation’s giving. Social concerns grants represent 4 percent of the Foundation’s giving and range from $2,500 to $10,000. These grants fund secular community programs which provide direct services such as child welfare; vocational training; prison alternatives; concerns for the aged and disabled; and men, women, and families in crisis.
