DescriptionThe Trust supports conservation activities around the world as they fit within the mission of the National Geographic Society. Funded projects include those that contribute significantly to the preservation and sustainable use of the Earth’s biological, cultural, and historical resources. Of particular interest are cutting edge programs that other organizations may overlook because of the risk involved in working with new investigators and in new fields. Completing an online pre-application form is the first step in applying for a grant. The form is accepted throughout the year.
