Description

Sponsored by Toshiba and the National Science Teachers Association, the Program, now in its 15th year, encourages K-12 students of all interest, skill, and ability levels to create and explore a vision of future technology by combining their imaginations with the tools of science. As part of the Program, children work in groups of two, three, or four, simulating a real research and development team. A teacher serves as a team coach and teams can have optional mentors. Entrants must be citizens or legal residents of the United States, the U.S. Territories, or Canada and living in one of those locations. They must be enrolled full time in private, public, or home school and be no older than 21 years of age. Four entry categories are available. Additional information is available on the Web site.
