DescriptionThe Center strengthens nonprofit organizations in the areas of fund-raising, organizational development, and planning. The Center’s programs help with direct expenses related to consulting, training, facilitation, and other outside assistance for social and environmental justice organizations. The Center’s priority constituencies include environmental justice organizations, environmental networks, and coalitions composed of environmental justice and/or activist groups. Organizations with budgets under $500,000 are eligible to apply. To be eligible for funding, organizations must be a local, state, or regional nonprofit with a portion of its resources devoted to environmental issues.
