The Coca-cola Foundation
Category: Education
DescriptionThe Foundation focuses its grantmaking on three specific areas: higher education, classroom teaching and learning, and global education. Higher education grants support pipeline programs. These pipeline programs connect various levels of education and encourage students to stay in school and to “proceed with confidence” to college and perhaps graduate school. Classroom Teaching and Learning Grants fund innovative K-12 public school programs, teacher development programs, and small projects that deal with specific activities in the elementary and secondary classroom. Global education grants fund global exchange programs, which encourage international studies. These grants also fund programs outside the United States that promote education. The Foundation reviews funding requests year round. An application form is available online.
