Description

The Foundation awards grants in geographic areas where the Company has facilities and employees including Cuyahoga and Lorain counties in Ohio; the Greater Atlanta, GA area; San Diego county in California; and Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Community needs drive priorities. Areas of interest include education, human welfare, civic, and arts and culture. Education support is targeted toward improving elementary and secondary schools as well as certain programs for public and private higher education. Human welfare grants focus on children and youth. Other funding interests include urban affairs, volunteerism, public policy, health and health organizations, and literacy. Deadlines vary by state. Ohio deadlines are Feb. 15, May 15, Aug. 15, and Nov. 15. Georgia deadlines are May 15 and Nov. 15. California deadlines are May 15. Rhode Island deadlines are Aug. 15. Application forms are available on the Web site. Those applicants in Georgia, California, and Rhode Island should send the application to the individuals listed on the Web site.
