DescriptionThe philanthropic arm of the Michigan lawyers? association, the Foundation provides leadership and grants to improve access for all to the justice system in the state of Michigan. The Foundation?s Administration of Justice Grants Program awards grants to innovative projects focused on the following priorities: educating Michigan children and adults about their legal rights and responsibilities and the American justice system; opportunities for conflict and dispute resolution; and supporting civil legal aid to the poor. The Foundation may also consider projects of extraordinary merit in other subject areas related to the administration of justice.
