DescriptionThe Fund?s Internet Freedom Fund Program supports innovative Internet freedom projects, including technology development, digital security projects, and convenings. Grants are awarded in four areas: Technology, Applied Research, Improving the Digital Security Ecosystem and Events and Community Convenings. Priority is given to individual applicants or organizations who are applying for the first time; identify as under-represented in the field; and address areas that are underfunded. The Fund does not support applicants living in countries that the United States has trade restrictions or export sanctions as determined by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control.
