DescriptionEstablished by a bequest of the late founding editor of the New York Review of Books, the Foundation recently launched its Silvers Grants for Work in Progress to support long-form writing in the fields of literary criticism, arts writing, political analysis, and/or social reportage. The writing sample can be from the writer?s work in progress or from a previously published essay, article, or book. Anglophone writers of any nationality may apply.
