DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the American Eagle Outfitters retail organization. The Foundation is dedicated to building a better world and showing the world there's real power in the optimism of youth. Grants support causes that educate and empower teens and young adults. Priority is given to programs and projects that target the Foundation's largest target demographic: youth ages 15 to 25 years old. The Foundation strives to create positive change through its grants, which it awards to nonprofits at a grassroots level in the communities of Pittsburgh, New York City, San Francisco, and Hazleton, Ottawa, and Mississauga (Ontario) area.
