The Nellie Leaman Taft Foundation
Category: Regional
DescriptionThe Foundation was created by Cincinnati native and Boston resident, Taft, an accomplished artist, avid gardener, and worldwide traveler. Grantmaking is focused on two areas: Arts and Arts Education, and the Environment. Types of grants include: seed funding for new ideas and initiatives, start-up and ongoing support for grassroots organizations, and entrepreneurial projects that may enable an organization or its constituents to achieve greater self-sufficiency. The Foundation solicits new project ideas through a preliminary review process. Grantseekers are asked to contact Daniel Tonozzi no later than March 1 to discuss ideas and request access to the Preliminary Application Form. Visit the Web site to learn more and for additional information on how to apply.
