DescriptionFounded by modern artists Jackson Pollock and his wife Lee Krasner, the Foundation provides financial resources for visual artists to create new work, acquire supplies, rent studio space, prepare for exhibitions, attend a residence, and offset living expenses. The Foundation welcomes applications from visual artists who are painters, sculptors, and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. Grant sizes are determined by individual circumstances with the maximum grant being $50,000. Application instructions as well as additional information can be found on the Web site.
