DescriptionThe Organization works relentlessly to grow Canada's tree canopy through its greening programs, research, and engagement efforts. It is the only national nonprofit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments. The Community Tree Grants assist in purchasing and planting edible trees and shrubs, site preparation, tree maintenance, planting materials, and developing education materials. Grants support community greening, innovation, and stewardship initiatives across the country by offering funding and technical support to help start, upgrade, or achieve the greening goals through tree and shrub planting.
