DescriptionKnown for its work in nuclear reactor energy, the Company's Charitable Giving Program enables it to provide financial support to communities in one or more of its strategic areas of giving. The Company awards grants in: Education (with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics); Environmental Sustainability; and Community Safety and Vitality. Education grants support programs that improve knowledge and literacy with a focus on STEM among students, teachers, and the general public. Environmental Sustainability grants are used to enrich programs with the goal of preserving or restoring land, air, water, or biodiversity. Community Safety and Vitality grants are awarded to improve the overall quality of life within a community by supporting initiatives that enhance safety and public wellbeing.
