Description

Established by Watson, a longtime chair and CEO of Shamrock Bancshares, the Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for residents of rural southern Oklahoma in communities where her banks are located. The Foundation?s Classroom Enhancement Grant Program will provide grants of up to $5,000 to PK-12 classroom educators to go beyond traditional curriculum and enrich the teaching environment for their students. Grants will help provide students with resources they would not otherwise have access to in their everyday classroom activities. Grants will be awarded for projects in the following subject areas: arts and culture, English language arts technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and social studies. Applicants must be located in specific counties of Oklahoma. Visit the Web site to find additional information and application instructions.
