Description

The Company?s Helping Heroes grants are reserved for volunteer first responder organizations that operate within in the state of New Mexico. Grants are awarded for programs and projects that address Safety Equipment, Professional Training, and Safety Education programs. In addition, the Company will consider grant requests for other essential support for volunteer emergency response organizations, such as behavioral health programs, recruiting efforts, etc. Eligible organizations include Volunteer Fire Fighting Organizations, Emergency Medical service Organizations, and Search and Rescue Organizations. Priority will be given to organizations that provide services to the Company?s service territories, which include: Alamogordo, Albuquerque, Anthony, Artesia, Carlsbad, Chama, Clayton, Clovis, Espanola, Farmington, Gallup, Grants, Lovington, Portales, Roswell, Santa Fe, Silver City, Truth or Consequences, Taos, and Tucumcari.
