Description

The Foundation was established in 1941 by Hormel Foods Corporation founder, George A. Hormel, and his son, Jay C Hormel. Contributions from the Foundation directly benefit the community of Austin, Minn. Grants are awarded to organizations that provide food, shelter, and clothing; advance quality healthcare; education and research; and enhance the quality of life through projects that benefit the people of Austin, Minn., and beyond. Grant recipients must either be located in and/or directly affect the Austin, Minn., area. Some additional information along with application instructions can be found on the Web site.
