DescriptionThe Foundation makes grants to community-led organizations in Minnesota to amplify the power of community to advance equity and justice. The Foundation?s grantmaking prioritizes Black/Indigenous/People of Color-led organizations who are leading work towards justice and collective liberation. While the Foundation has four grantmaking funds, The Black Seed Fund is the only one accepting applications. This Fund makes general operating grants to Black-led groups and supports their organizational development and capacity-building needs. The Fund supports organizations whose work amplifies the political, cultural, and economic power of Black communities. Grants are for Black-led organizations that grow power with Black people.
