DescriptionLocated in Alberta, Canada, the Company (formerly known as TransCanada) provides energy solutions, specifically natural gas pipelines, power generating plants, and nuclear facilities. The Company's Social Impact Program grants fund organizations located in communities within a 20-mile radius of the Company's operations or projects. The TC Energy Build Strong Program seeks to equip first responders with the resources they need to keep the community safe; improve access to education for the future energy problem solvers; protect and enhance the environment for today and tomorrow; and mitigate barriers to well-being in the community. Grants are awarded in this category for Safety, Education, Environment, and Resilient Communities programs. TC Energy Indigenous Build Strong supports Indigenous-led organizations and nonprofits that address priorities identified by the communities they work with that address Safety, Community, Environment, and Education and Training.
