DescriptionAs the community foundation for Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, the Foundation ignites generosity that transforms lives and communities. The Foundation's Community Heart and Soul Program helps rural communities throughout its 20-county-service area build community through a resident-driven process as well as help take action on what matters most to those living there. The Foundation partners with people who want to improve their communities and make the world better. Grants are awarded in three strategic focus areas: Ignite Generosity, Vibrant and Sustainable Communities, and Every Person Thrives.
