Description

The Scientific Research Honor Society is one of the oldest and largest international scientific organizations. The Society has a distinguished history of service to science and society. The Society's Grants in Aid of Research Program provides undergraduate and graduate students with valuable educational experiences. By encouraging close working relationships between students and mentors, the Program promotes scientific excellence and achievement through hands-on learning. The Society strongly encourages applications from women and underrepresented minorities, including Blacks or African Americans, Hispanics or Latinx, Native Americans, Alaskan Natives, or Native Hawaiians. Additionally, designated funds from the National Academy of Sciences provide grants of up to $5,000 for astronomy research, and $2,500 for vision-related research. Visit the Web site to learn more and for application instructions.
