Description

Founded in 1920, the Council is the world's largest mathematics education organization. The Council's Action Research on Mathematics Teaching Practices Grant Program support action research conducted as a collaborative by university faculty, preservice teachers, and classroom teachers working to improve their teaching mathematics in preK-12 classrooms. The action research should be designed, implemented, and completed with a focus on enhancing mathematics teaching in grades preK-12. Emphasis will be placed on collaboration by a team of researchers consisting of university, classroom teachers, and preservice teachers from the undergraduate ranks.
