DescriptionThe Foundation's mission is to promote healthy and sustainable communities by providing resources, strengthening collaborative relationships, and supporting initiatives that impact people in the Mid-Ohio Valley. The Foundation's Basic Needs/Direct Service Grants Program, supports organizations located within its service areas in West Virginia and Ohio that provide material aid such as clothing, personal care items, and/or emergency assistance for utility and rent payments for individuals in need. Projects must positively impact residents in one or more of the counties of the Foundation's service area which include Calhoun, Jackson, Pleasants Ritchie, Roane, Tyler, Wirt, and Wood counties in West Virginia and Athens, Meigs, and Washington counties in Ohio.
