Brooks And Joan Fortune Family Foundation

Description

The Foundation was established by the Fortunes, who worked in medical research developing projects that helped diabetic patients to better check and control their insulin levels. The Foundation primarily provides grants to support education, art, and outreach programs and projects. The Foundation prefers awarding grants to support specific activities that result in a defined outcome rather than general operating funds or fundraising campaigns. While the Foundation has historically supported nonprofits in Florida and Indiana, requests from across the country are considered. Application instructions and some additional information can be found on the Web site.
