DescriptionThe Council invites applications from Florida nonprofits for its Community Project Grants Program. The Program supports a wide variety of public humanities programming that encourages community engagement in and with the humanities. The Council defines humanities programming through various academic disciplines including, but not limited to, literature, history, philosophy, art history, musicology, anthropology, ethics, film studies, and cultural studies. The Council is interested in humanities projects that ridge the gap between these academic disciplines and the public through the delivery of programming that contributes to the cultural enrichment of communities.
