Community Foundation Of St. Joseph County

Description

The Foundation aims to improve the lives of the citizens of Indiana's St. Joseph County through the core values of excellence, perseverance, compassion, wisdom, leadership, and legacy. The Foundation's Senior Living grants program supports quality programs and services to help local seniors remain healthy, safe, independent, and engaged. Grants are awarded for senior housing, and in support of efforts that fulfill basic needs, promote health, quality of care, community engagement, and access to community resources, especially for seniors most in need of assistance. Priority is given to programs and projects addressing aging in place; home- and community-based services; professional development, education, and training; programs/projects serving high-need, vulnerable seniors from low-income backgrounds; and quality of care.
