DescriptionEstablished in 2009, the Trust offers grants to charities registered in the United Kingdom and other organizations that charry out charitable activities providing public benefit. Grantmaking is focused on less popular and harder to fund projects with a spread of funding between Local (Northeast England) and National (providing benefit across the United Kingdom) and International projects. Grant priorities include: relieving poverty and disability and providing access to shelter, education, healthcare, and water. The Trust will not award grants for research, holidays or outings, arts or entertainment activities, animal welfare, local appeals outside the northeast of England, or general appeals.
