DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Bay State's legal society. The Foundation's IOLTA (Interest on Lawyers' Trust Account) Program provides support to nonprofits in Massachusetts whose programs either provide civil legal services to low-income clients or improve the administration of justice. Grants increase the capacity of legal aid organizations to offer critical assistance to those who have few resources to address legal issues, including domestic violence, housing, immigration status, child advocacy, family law, discrimination, and health care. New applicants are asked to contact the Foundation prior to submitting a proposal. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
