DescriptionCreated by the largest physician-owned medical malpractice insurer, the Foundation supports patient safety education for healthcare professionals and patient safety research with clinically useful applications. Grants focus on projects and activities that develop knowledge techniques, and tools whose application reduces or eliminates the risk of adverse events that cause harm to patients while under care. Eligible applicants include nonprofit entities and educational institutions. A letter of inquiry form as well as additional information can be found on the Web site.
