DescriptionThe telecommunications philanthropic arm targets its money toward three programs: volunteerism, literacy, and domestic violence. Schools applying for literacy grants must be registered with the National Center for Education Statistics. The Foundation wants to transform the way private, public, and nonprofit sectors work together in building collaborative partnerships. Before allocating funds, the Foundation takes into consideration various aspects of the funding proposal including the organization’s mission, leadership, vision, strategy, financials, budget requested, and how the organization’s dollars are invested in the communities it serves. Additional information, including an online quiz, is available on the Web site. The Foundation pledges a 72-hour acknowledgment/response to the electronic query.
