Description

Named for the developer of the solid body electric guitar, the Foundation inspires innovative and creative thinking by sharing the legacy of Les Paul through the support of music education, recording, innovation, and medical resources related to hearing. The Foundation's grantmaking is focused on programs that encourage innovation music production and/or performance as well as to innovative science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or STEAM programs that add art to the curriculum for students and others in challenging positions. The Foundation also provides grants for medical research related to curing tinnitus and hearing impairment issues. The Foundation does not support religious, political, labor, or business organizations nor are grants awarded to individuals. For additional information, visit the Web site.
