DescriptionThe Foundation collaborates with others to promote the absolute best in public education. The Foundation's Learning and Leadership grants are awarded to support NEA members' professional development. Grants will be awarded to individuals who want to participate in high-quality professional development such as summer institutes, conferences, seminars, travel abroad programs, or action research. Grants will also be awarded to groups to fund collegial study, including study groups, action research, lesson plan development, or mentoring experiences for faculty or staff. Current NEA members and teachers, education support professionals, or specialized instruction support personnel are eligible to apply.
