DescriptionThe Foundation is a private, independent Foundation that focuses its grantmaking on Worcester and Boylston, Massachusetts, with few exceptions. Grants are awarded in the following areas: Culture, specifically area museums and arts institutions; Education, specifically local colleges, universities, and other Worcester schools; Healthcare, specifically hospitals and support agencies; Social Services, specifically recreation, mental health, and youth development; and Religious Institutions. Applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed monthly. Organizations should send a letter of inquiry or make a phone inquiry to see if the request meets with the Foundation's interest. Unsolicited requests are rarely considered. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
