DescriptionAs the philanthropic arm of the natural gas and electric company, the Foundation funds projects in five topic areas: environment, education, culture and the arts, civic and community development, and health and human services. The Foundation invests in organizations and programs that improve the quality of life in company communities. Priority is given to projects that show affordability and sustainability, will make a lasting impact on the community, use the professional expertise of Dominion employees and retirees as volunteers, have potential for significant and measurable outcomes, and show potential for connections to other complementary endeavors. An online eligibility quiz starts the application process. Organizations in Alabama, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin are eligible to apply.
