The Dreyer's Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the ice cream company. Funding falls into two categories: large grants over $3,000 and small grants ($3,000 and under). The Foundation’s large grants are earmarked for Pre-K through grade 12 education programs, primarily in California and those where Dreyer’s or Edy’s employees are involved. Funding supports capital items, program expenses, operating expenses, start-up costs, materials, and/or supplies. Priority is given to those programs/projects that support low- and middle-income youth and minority youth. Small grant proposals are reviewed monthly. The deadline is for the large grant proposals.
