Description

The Foundation seeks to sustain and build resilient, vital, engaged, and equitable communities in the Chicago region and the Lowcountry of South Carolina through support for conservation, arts, and collecting organizations. Land Conservation grants support protected areas and working lands, those that are restored and others that are sustainably managed. Artistic Vitality grants support arts organizations that nurture artists and help build vibrant communities. Collections grants help collecting organizations to amplify overlooked voices and animate and expand the stories and insights derived from their collections. The Foundation asks new applicants to initiate a contact with Foundation staff to discuss a proposal before applying.
