Foundation For Financial Planning

Category

: Business & Finance

Description

The Foundation seeks to help people take control of their financial lives by connecting the financial planning community with individuals and families in need. Grants are awarded to community-based organizations and nonprofits nationwide to support the delivery of pro bono financial planning to populations who could not otherwise afford or access financial planning services. The Foundation seeks to fund programs that are scalable, replicable, and sustainable, focusing much of its grantmaking on areas where the Foundation believes it can have the greatest impact including programs for military and veterans, programs for people with cancer, and activating volunteers in partnership with the Foundation's national partner, the Financial Planning Association. The Foundation also awards grants to chapters of financial planning organizations for programs that seek to help undeserved members of the community through one-on-one pro bono financial planning sessions. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
