DescriptionThe Foundation was established by Fan Fox Samuels and her husband. Grants are awarded in the following categories: Performing Arts, and Healthy Aging. Performing Arts grants support producing companies and presenters in New York City who deliver work of the highest artistic quality in the fields of dance, music, opera, and theater. In the Performing Arts category, the Foundation also supports a very limited number of pre-professional conservatory and development programs in New York City for early-career artists. Healthy aging grants seek to improve the health care and overall quality of life for New York City?s older adults. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
