Description

Founded in 1999 with a $200 million donation from The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., the Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the global investment banking and securities firm. The Foundation’s mission is innovation and excellence in education. Current priorities focus on enhancing academic performance and prospects for life achievement of students at the secondary school level; to develop the abilities of promising high-potential youth worldwide; and to support high-quality education for young people in business and entrepreneurship. Applicants are asked to send a two-page letter of inquiry. The letter should include documentation of results achieved to date. If faxing, please include a cover sheet labeled: “Attn: Goldman Sachs Foundation.”
