Description

The Foundation, inspired by its Catholic heritage, seeks to create access for those in need and opportunity for those with vision. The Foundation envisions a Philadelphia region that is culturally, economically, intellectually, and social vibrant, bolstered by a strong network of civil society organizations that provide abundant opportunity for its people to improve their own lives and those of their families. Grants are awarded in the following areas: education, human services, and civic and cultural life. The Foundation awards general operating support grants, program/project grants, technology grants, equipment, and cultural grants. The Foundation's grantmaking is directed toward nonprofits and institutions serving Philadelphia, the surrounding counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery, and the city of Camden, NJ. There are no submission deadlines, however the Foundation's guidelines state that only one grant can be awarded within a year's period of time.
