Description

The Foundation aims to improve the natural world, secure a fairer future, and strengthen the bonds in communities in the United Kingdom. The Foundation one of the largest independent grant-makers in the UK, seeks to unlock change by contributing everything it can alongside people and organizations with brilliant ideas who share our goals. Grants awarded in the Natural World category help support three key impact goals: preserved and improved species health and habitats; clean and healthy freshwater, and sustainable and ethical food. Grants in the Fairer Future category seek to contribute to a just and anti-racist society, where those most likely to have their rights denied have those rights protected as well as the opportunity to speak and be heard and the freedom to express their creativity. Creative, Confident Communities grants seek to strengthen the bonds in communities, helping local people to build vibrant, confident places where they can fulfill their creative, human, and economic potential. The Foundation make unrestricted, core, and project grants for charitable work in the UK. The Trustees are making some key changes to the strategy of one of its aims: A Fairer Future and will temporarily close to new applications in funding until autumn 2022. Visit the Web site to learn more and for application instructions.
