Description

Founded by Bill Daniels, an early pioneer in cable television, the Fund focuses on supporting highly effective nonprofits that achieve significant results within the Fund's four-state region of Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Utah. It also funds select programs with national impact. Grants are awarded in the following areas: aging, amateur sports, disabilities, drug and alcohol addiction, early childhood education, homeless and disenfranchised, K-12 education reform, and youth development. The Fund's grantmaking philosophy includes a relationship style of doing business; providing people with a hand up and not a handout; and be a permanent and impactful resource in the areas in which the Fund works. The Fund has tailored its grantmaking strategies and objectives to address specific needs in each individual state. Unsolicited applications are only accepted from Colorado and Wyoming applicants.
