DescriptionFounded in 2007, the Foundation is an independent organization created by corporate changes made in the business operations of AWS/Anthony Wayne Services, now named Benchmark Human Services. The Foundation's mission is to support the disability community. Grants are awarded to help children and adults with enduring intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities live as independently as possible, be included in the community, and function at their highest potential. Priority is given to programs that promote social enrichment, advance education and employment, and expand transportation. Organizations must serve the following Northeast Indiana counties of Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Grant, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitely.
