DescriptionThe Foundation’s charitable interests include higher education, churches, youth-serving agencies, health facilities, community buildings, museums, civic projects, and low-maintenance, energy efficient housing projects. Grants for building construction, renovation, repairs, and restoration of facilities are considered. Preference is given for capital and special projects. The Foundation prefers to award grants to organizations in Western Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Arkansas, Western Iowa, and occasionally in other Western states such as Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Montana. Grants for primary and secondary schools are generally not considered.
