Light A Single Candle Foundation

Description

The Foundation is dedicated to the relief of poverty through effective partnerships that target food support, food security, and food sustainability; microbusiness and economic development; and the development of individuals, families, and communities through self-determination and an improved standard of living. The Foundation believes that the need for food and economic sustainability is basic to all poverty solutions. The Foundation is currently focused on domestic partnerships and programs located in the Metropolitan St. Louis area (specifically within the City of St. Louis, Mo., or North St. Louis County, Mo.) and international partnerships and programs located in six Central American and Caribbean countries: Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Jamaica, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
