DescriptionThe Fund is an innovative partnership empowering local women to be a force for crisis response and lasting peace. The Fund is seeking applications for its Short-Term grants, under its Rapid Response Window. This is an opportunity for civil society organizations to implement urgent projects that address diverse barriers to women's meaningful participation in a formal peace process or implementation of a peace agreement. The funding support is open to all official development assistance eligible countries with a Track 1 or Track 2 peace process, or implementing a formal peace agreement. Grants will be implemented with the support of four International Non-Governmental Organization partners, whose technical expertise and global reach will strengthen the impact of the Rapid Response Window.
