DescriptionThe Foundation's grantmaking is focused on making grants to promote the arts, education, and initiatives that seek to better our world by utilizing nature and the sciences. Grants are awarded in the following areas: P/Arts Program (Philanthropic Arts Program that works to bring together the charitable, arts, and education communities to collaborate and inspire); EAGER to Learn Program (a program to help Florida high school students succeed in preparing for and taking the SAT & ACT tests; New ERA Women Writers Program (to catalyze and promote education and expression through writing for women and girls); Environmental Ingenuity (working to reverse or lessen the human impact on the environment and increase water quality in both fresh and saltwater); Medical Research (which focuses on funding initiatives involving high-mortality, under-funded diseases, specifically pancreatic cancer) and Arts and Arts Education (which supports both the visual and performing arts in Florida and the Northeastern United States). The P/Arts Program also supports organizations located in Washington, D.C. and Connecticut. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
