DescriptionThe Fund's Climbing Conservation Grant Program supports projects that preserve or enhance climbing opportunities and conserve the climbing environment throughout the United States. Grants are awarded for projects that demonstrate local climber support, collaboration with land managers, and a commitment to long-term change. Eligible applicants include local climbing groups, governmental agencies, conservation organizations, and land trusts, as well as individuals who wish to sponsor a local project. Requests for large grants of more than $10,000 should have national significance and use a high degree of matching funds.
