DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the baby food Company. The Foundation supports a variety of youth programming within a four-county area of Michigan that includes Lake, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana counties in the western part of the state. The Foundation's West Michigan Youth Programs grants are awarded to agencies located in or directly serving youth in the four-county region that support youth programming for those between birth and 18 years of age. Preference will be given to programs and projects that address health, nutrition, and dental issues; early childhood services and literacy; parenting education; education (including science, technology, engineering, arts/agriculture, and mathematics); and life experiences (camp scholarships, agricultural science education, 4-H and FFA). Agencies must be located in, or directly serve, youth from one of the four counties. Additional information and application instructions can be found on the Web site.
